Become and After Sunday Contact

Become an After Sunday Contact for your Church

At After Sunday we believe strongly in the importance of building up local worshipping communities. We are keen to develop a network of locally based church contacts who can help to make connections between local congregations and After Sunday.

What is involved in being an After Sunday Contact?

Once you have expressed an interest in becoming an After Sunday Contact, you will be given a pack of useful resources, information, suggestions and ideas so that you might feel able to promote After Sunday in your church.

After Sunday Contacts could :

  • Encourage After Sunday thinking in your Parish Magazines or Newsletters. We will supply suitable materials and interesting articles.
  • Encourage the use of the After Sunday Course modules to help people to grow in confidence
  • Encourage the use of ideas / materials in worship that help to make a better connection between Sunday and Monday. After Sunday will provide suggestions and resources for you to use.
  • Encourage a focus on what people do in their 'dispersed' church lives, sharing information about what people do during the week and the challenges they face so they can be supported by the 'gathered' church. After Sunday would offer suggestions and possible activities.
  • Share ideas with After Sunday of things that you are doing to promote a better connection between faith, work and the world.

How do I become an After Sunday Contact?

When you register on our website you will find that you are invited to complete a profile in which there is a place to indicate your willingness to be involved and which parish/congregation you belong to. Once you have signed up you will have access to the After Sunday Contacts section of the website.

We also welcome contact by telephone, email or post from people willing to offer to be an After Sunday Contact.

We look forward to working with you!
